General Information

The types of positions we hire students for in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are

  • Student Assistants (SA)
  • Instructional Student Assistants (ISA)

Student Paydays

Student employee checks and pay stubs are available by the 15th of each month subsequent to the month worked—for example, April's paycheck will be available May 15, etc. If the 15th falls on a Saturday, they will be available the previous Friday; if it falls on a Sunday, they will be available the following Monday.

Direct deposit (PDF) is recommended.

  • During the semester, checks/pay stubs are to be picked up at the Cashiering Office, Student Services Center Room 230 during normal business hours.
  • During the winter and summer break, if not on campus for the January or June payday, your check can be mailed to you. You must supply the Cashiering Office with a self-address and stamped envelope. On the inside flap, write the last three digits of your social security number and the word "student." Make sure the writing is legible.
