Child Development Courses Related to Agency Employment

Listed below are courses offered at CSU, Chico that fall into categories for requirements of various agencies, including Title 22 Guidelines for Community Care Licensing (Department of Social Services), Child Development Permit requirements (California Commission on Teaching Credentialing and Title 5 Agencies), and federal programs (Early Head Start/Head Start). It is ultimately the decision of the specific agency to accept or reject any coursework for their specific programs. 

Community Care Licensing (Title 22) requirements include 3 units in each of the core areas for teachers and directors in Child Care programs. These core units are also a component of the Child Development Permit. Please note that some of the following coursework has prerequisites.
