Chico Calaveras Cycle

In collaboration with the Department of Sustainability in Facilities Management, the Geography and Planning Department, the Butte County Department of Public Health, Meriam Library, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, the Office of Undergraduate Education, the Chicano Latino Council is leading a ride through campus and Chico. Participants will learn about bicycle safety, how to ride during the night and low-light settings, and what routes in Chico are available to explore and ride. We will meet at the SSC Plaza and engage in a brief demonstration of safety techniques, then the group will depart on our ride, touring local Hispanic-owned businesses, taquerias, panaderias, y paleterías.
