Message From the Dean

Greetings!

A New Year is a time for both reflection and hope.  After the devastating fires of 2018, the entire Chico State community has rallied to support our faculty, staff and students who were impacted.  In addition to providing financial support to Camp Fire victims through the Wildcats Rise Recovery Fund, many of our faculty, staff and students volunteered countless hours in myriad ways in support of our fellow community members. 

As the New Year unfolds, we will continue to support our colleagues while we engage in our central mission in the College of Communication and Education.  That mission is to prepare our students to be effective, educated, engaged, and ethical leaders in their relationships, communities, and professions.  In this issue of Voices, you will learn more about just a few of the many people and programs across our College that help us to bring our mission to life.
