General Education advising

General Education is a program designed to help you explore different areas of study and ensure that you will be prepared to succeed after graduation with a wide range of knowledge and skills. A GE advisor can help you understand GE requirements and plan GE courses.

• GE includes lower-division and upper-division courses, so transfer students will also complete some GE courses
• GE is modified for students majoring in Communication Design (BFA), Journalism (BA), or Liberal Studies (BA)

Meet with a GE advisor every semester. GE advisors are not assigned, so you can meet with the CME Student Success Team or Academic Advising Programs.
