Apply Now for Project MATH 2021-2022!(opens in new window)

Each year, Project MATH accepts applications in the spring for the following fall semester. Project MATH applicants are automatically eligible to receive a $1000 - $2000 MSTI recruitment scholarship. Applications for the 2021-2022 academic year are due by Friday, April 9, 2021. Completed applications will be subjected to competitive review. Please be sure to have your documents ready to upload before starting the application. ALL PORTIONS of your application must be completed in full.  Late applications will be considered, but this can reduce the chances of receiving a MSTI Recruitment Scholarship.

Admission to the University

CSU, Chico is committed to supporting students interested in becoming mathematics teachers and has made available substantial scholarships for such students. Participation in Project MATH is taken into consideration in awarding these scholarships. In fact, incoming freshmen and transfer students are eligible for $500-2000 MSTI Recruitment Scholarships for their first year at CSU, Chico. You are automatically considered for these scholarships when you apply and are accepted into Project MATH.
