Who's Involved

Participants, Mentors, Directors

The structure of Project MATH is based on recommendations from organizations such as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Mathematical Association of America. Funding has been made possible from the National Science Foundation and the Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education.

Students: Project MATH students are a mix of all kinds of Chico State students with a common interest in becoming the best secondary math teachers they can be.

Mentor Teachers: The mentor teachers are active middle and high school teachers who enjoy helping the next generation of math teachers learn about mathematics and the teaching of mathematics.
