The Entrepreneurship option at Chico State is designed to graduate students who not only know how to start and operate a business, but are ready to assume leadership roles in the business world.

The Center for Entrepreneurship(opens in new window) (CFE) hosts new venture and business plan competitions that give students a chance to compete for business startup funds and receive expert advice. The CFE also hosts speakers and events that connect students with mentors, successful alumni and distinguished entrepreneurial leaders. Students can also receive targeted consulting, mentoring and training support for their startup ideas from our incubator program and utilize Chico State's Makerspace(opens in new window).

Is a Degree in Entrepreneurship Right for Me?

The Entrepreneurship option is an excellent choice for students who have or would like to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and are:
