Program Highlights

Chico State's MBA program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective managerial decision-making, the flexibility to pursue a general or moderately specialized business curriculum, and a basis for continued personal and professional growth. Through a case study, lecture, and project work, students develop a deep understanding of how leading companies analyze, refine, and align the primary business functions to maintain a competitive edge.

Program Highlights:

  • STEM designated Business Analytics MBA degree – our Business Analytics MBA option is now a STEM degree. This allows our international student MBA graduates to take advantage of a full three year OPT after they leave the program.
  • Designed with working professionals in mind – most MBA courses start at 5 p.m. or later Monday-Thursday making it possible to be a working professional and a graduate student.
  • Individualized course planning – since we are not a cohort-based program, you can complete the program in the timeframe that works best for you.
  • Prerequisites streamlined – students without an undergraduate degree in business can take prerequisite coursework and modules to prepare them for MBA coursework. These can be completed prior to applying to the program, prior to starting the program, or as you begin taking MBA courses.
  • Outstanding faculty and small class sizes – a high-quality learning environment with practical hands-on knowledge and skills.
  • Dedicated MBA Director and Advisor – here to answer any questions related to the program, both resources are available to you throughout the program.
