Looking for an additional fun challenge?

Take part in one of our professional sales competitions! Competitions will push your personal and professional development to new levels. Not only will these competitions help refine your professional sales skills and knowledge, they will also help you get noticed by recruiters. Students in the Seufferlein Sales Program have the opportunity to participate in all of the competitions listed below. If you're interested in competing, fill out our competition interest form!

Overview

The Arizona Collegiate Sales Competition is hosted by Arizona State University and Pacific Office Automation featuring sales role plays, speed selling, and visume competition. This competition will be hosted completely virtually.

2020-21 Competition Information

The ACSU will be held on Feb. 19th and 20th, 2021.

Overview

The Chico State Sales Invitational (CSSI) is an energetic and exciting venue for university students, faculty and corporate recruiters. Competitors are among the best sales students from Chico State and are offered the chance to showcase their skills to attending recruiters.

2020-21 Competition Information

The Chico State Sales Invitational will be held virtually on March 10th, 2021. 


Overview

The Global Bilingual Sales Competition is hosted by Florida International University. "The FIU College of Business’ Global Bilingual Sales Competition (GBSC) is the only sales competition of its kind in the world, bringing student competitors from across the globe to compete in both English and Spanish. The need for bilingual sales representatives, key account managers, and sales managers by local, national, and worldwide organizations is rapidly increasing. The vision of the FIU-GBSC is that it serves as a venue for Spanish-English bilingual students and educators in developing a global salesforce."

2020-21 Competition Information

The GBSC will be held on March 17th to 19th.

Overview

The Western States Collegiate Sales Competition will feature schools from the western United States competing against each other in team and individual sales competitions.

2020-21 Competition Information

The Western States Collegiate Sales Competition will be held on April 1st and 2nd, 2021.

Overview

The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Sales Competition is hosted by Oregon State University and "brings together students from area universities to test their sales skills and abilities to close the deal. Hosted by the OSU Sales Academy, the competition is sponsored by leading national companies including title sponsor, Pacific Office Automation."

2020-21 Competition Information

The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Sales Competition will be held on April 15th to 17th, 2021.


Sweet 16 Sales Competition Logo

Overview

The Sweet 16 Sales Challenge is a local sales competition that takes place during the fall semester. The competition is open to all students taking MKTG 473 (Strategic Personal Selling).  During the semester, students compete in a series of role plays that utilize cases provided by Corporate Partners. In mid October, the top 16 students compete in a live role play event judged by corporate partners. The Sweet 16 Sales Challenge is accompanied by the Sweet 16 Networking Event, open to all SSP students.

2021-2022 Competition Information

The CSU Sales Competition date has not been set for the 2021-2022 school year.
