Entrepreneurship Option
Contrary to popular belief, entrepreneurship students get jobs! Employers actively seek out entrepreneurial skills (often called instrapreneurship) on resumes.
Entrepreneurship Major and Minor - Traditional Track
You don't need to have an idea for a business to major in entrepreneurship. Our traditional track in entrepreneurship allows you to build your leadership and communication skills, grow your professional network, and develop ideas. Our highly experiential and interdisciplinary track builds your own ability to be more creative, collaborative, analytical, and innovative. Entrepreneurship grads also pursue careers in commercializing new products and services in established businesses and managing processes for developing innovations.

Entrepreneurship Major and Minor - Applied Track
Do you have an idea for a business you want to explore? Our entrepreneurship major prepares you to translate ideas into feasible opportunities. Whether a social venture, a web-based business, or a startup based on an idea from another field, this track gives you course credit for working on your own business. This track gives you the opportunity to work with other majors to build prototypes, websites, or branding kits for your business. It also allows you to present your idea and potentially receive funding from the Chico State Accelerator Fund.
