How will YOU stand out in a crowd?

The Seufferlein Sales Program is designed for Chico State students to hone their sales skills, develop professionally, and begin prosperous careers. SSP students are able to pursue up to three certificates: the Professional Sales Certificate, the Analytical Leadership Certificate, and the Communicative Leadership Certificate. The SSP offers a curated selection of workshops to accompany the three certificate offerings, as well as opportunities to compete in sales competitions and win thousands of dollars in prize money, and frequent networking events to learn about exclusive internship and career opportunities with our corporate partners. The SSP offers all of this to our students at no cost. Join today to begin investing in your future!

More than 50 percent of today's college students start in sales. With our new state-of-the-art facility in Glenn Hall (room 206) and a group of dedicated faculty and staff, the Seufferlein Sales Program wants to make you successful. Professional Sales Certificate

Specifically designed for marketing majors and minors, our 21-credit Professional Sales Certificate is a great way to differentiate yourself in today’s competitive job market.

Professional Leadership Certificates

Our Professional Leadership Track offers students the opportunity to earn a Certificate in Analytical and/or Communicative Leadership through a collaborative effort with the Wildcat Leadership Institute. These certificates are open to all students, regardless of major.

Our professional sales competitions will push your personal and professional development to new levels, help refine your professional sales skills and knowledge, and help you get noticed by recruiters.

Clubs & Organizations

Get involved with our local chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon(opens in new window) (PSE), the only nationally recognized co-ed business fraternity for students interested in sales, marketing, and sales management. We are also a full member of the University Sales Center Alliance(opens in new window) (USCA).

Corporate Partners

Our corporate partners offer employment for sales program graduates and provide operational funding. Representatives also conduct classroom talks throughout the year and are involved in competition judging.

Sales Lab

Our sales lab offers role playrooms equipped with cameras that are used to record, stream, and archive class assignments/presentations, role plays, mock interviews, sales competition activities, and elevator pitches.
