CSU, Chico Commencement

Student Ambassadors

Being a student ambassador is easy, we just want you to spread the message!

Responsibilities:

Speak up! Communicate with your friends about the expectations of Commencement before and during the ceremonies. We understand these messages might be too formal for real life – say it your way!

  • Be prompt and prepared
  • Celebrate after the ceremony
  • Honor other people’s experiences
  • Stay until the end

We encourage you to post on any social media platform you use. Feel free to use the following hashtags:

  • #GraduateThenCelebrate
  • #Chico2019
  • #RespectTheCeremony

Act! At Commencement, be a resource for event staff and Faculty Marshals. Event staff will be able to identify you by your cord and may ask for your help. You are only expected to assist at your Commencement ceremony.
