COVID-19 On-Campus Booster Clinics, February 1 & 2
Chico State invites its students, employees, and the public to get a COVID-19 booster shot in the BMU on February 1 and 2.
As we kick off the spring 2022 semester, Chico State will offer on-campus COVID-19 booster clinics on February 1 & 2 in the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The clinic is open to Chico State students, employees, and the general public (age 12 and over). The clinic is free, and no appointments are necessary, but please bring your vaccine card with you so it can be updated. The University strongly encourages all students, faculty, and staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they are eligible. You are eligible for a booster if you received your second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine at least five months ago (any time before September 1, 2021), or if you received the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago (any time before December 1, 2021).
As a reminder, the CSU requires(opens in new window) anyone accessing campus facilities to be boosted by February 28, 2022. Boosters will enhance your protection from serious illness and reduce the chance that a COVID-19 exposure disrupts your semester. Those who are not yet eligible by the February 28 deadline will need to provide proof of receiving their booster within 14 days of becoming eligible.
The University soon will announce a new platform for students and employees to self-certify and upload proof of having received a booster shot. Stay tuned.
In addition, the University has opened a COVID-19 testing site just for Chico State students and employees. Beginning today, you can get a PCR test with results within 24-48 hours in Colusa Hall, Room 111/112 (map(opens in new window)) from noon to 4 p.m., Monday—Friday.
