Registration Adjustment Period for Fall 2020
---
Announced: June 22, 2020, 12 p.m.
To: Continuing Students
From: University Registrar
Chico State has determined which fall 2020 courses will be online, in-person, or hybrid—designations that were approved by the CSU Chancellor last week. You should check whether your classes will be affected by reviewing your schedule in your Student Center.
Changes You Might See
- If your class has been moved online, then the building will be updated to “wwwonline.”
- If a class still lists an on-campus building, then the class is still meeting on the Chico State campus.
- If online class days were changed to “TBA” or is blank and there is no start or end time, that means your class is asynchronous and will not have a set meeting time.
- If an online class still lists days and a start and end time, then you are expected to participate in online class activities and lectures during that time.
We understand that continuing students may have made different registration choices if this information had been available when you originally registered for classes. Therefore, to help you adjust your schedule and plan as early as possible, the Office of the Registrar will re-open registration July 1 through July 5.
To prevent Student Center system issues, you will be issued a new registration appointment using the same prioritization as our usual registration timeframe. These appointments will be available in their usual location in the Student Center by June 24.
We recommend that you review your schedule and ask your advisor any registration questions you may have as soon as possible.
Incoming freshman/transfer students have not yet registered for classes and should use the updated fall schedule to plan.
Please note that with the evolving COVID-19 situation, course determinations are subject to change. Therefore, we encourage students to check their final course schedules prior to the start of the fall semester. Chico State will send out a reminder to students in mid-August.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Academic Advising Programs or the Office of the Registrar.
