On-Campus Vaccine Clinics Offered Aug. 24 and Sept. 14

---
Announced: August 23, 2021, 11 a.m.

To: Campus Community
From: Chico State Emergency Operations Center

Chico State is offering on-campus vaccine clinics on both Tuesday, August 24 (Laxson Auditorium), and Tuesday, September 14 (BMU Auditorium) from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No appointments are necessary, but you can sign up for reminders and help us plan for staffing here: https://volunteersignup.org/DJAPD.

We will be distributing first- or second-dose Pfizer vaccines. The FDA announced full approval(opens in new window) of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine on August 23. If you've been holding out for this approval before getting vaccinated, now is the time to attend our upcoming vaccine clinics.

Time is running very short to meet the CSU's mandate of being fully vaccinated by September 30. Getting your first shot on August 24 and your next one at our September 14 on-campus clinic will allow you to meet the CSU's deadline.

If you can't attend one of our on-campus clinics, COVID-19 vaccines are widely available at pharmacies and community clinics nationwide, often with no appointment necessary. Visit vaccines.gov/search to find a vaccine near you.
