Bianca Wilson
Bianca Wilson (she/her/ella) was born and raised in San Diego, California. She started her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and transferred to San Francisco State University where she graduated with a major in Psychology. She completed her master’s program at the University of San Francisco and became a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in 2012. She started her Mental Health career as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinician at La Clínica de la Raza in East Oakland, working primarily with Spanish speaking adults, children, and families. She later worked in Marin County providing wrap-around Mental Health services to older adults with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Bianca relocated from the Bay Area to Chico in March 2018 and began working as the Patient’s Rights Advocate for Butte County Behavioral Health. Bianca served as the Cultural Competency Coordinator for BCDBH before transitioning to Chico State University.
Being a First-Generation bilingual and bicultural Latinx counselor, Bianca is passionate about connecting and supporting students at Chico State. When she is not at the Counseling Center, Bianca is doting over her daughter Eliana and loves trying new food and traveling to new places.
