Interests

As a therapist, I aim to establish a safe environment for students to gain insight and awareness about themselves. I support students with developing self-compassion and discovering their innate strengths to overcome the hard stuff life throws at you.

I have a wide scope of interests and expertise in trauma, personal relationships, body image, stress reduction, distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, issues related to personal identity, life transitions, social injustice and so much more. I have been trained in EMDR, DBT, ACT, and EFT.

I am actively working to be anti-racist, and strive to implement practices that decolonize the therapeutic process and move away from pathologizing peoples’ experiences.

As a regular human, I enjoy a “mixed bag” ranging from being active and doing nothing. I enjoy being outside in nature hiking, walking my dog, doing yoga, socializing with friends, spending quality time with my family, listening to music, playing games, and binge watching Netflix.
