Please note: The MS in Computer Science accepts applications for fall admission only.  You may apply online beginning October 1st through April 1st(opens in new window)Please review and follow the instructions under Admissions.

Admission requirements are set by both the Graduate School and the Department as shown below.

  1. Satisfactory grade point average as specified in the University Catalog(opens in new window).
  2. Approval by the department and the Office of Graduate Programs.
  3. An acceptable baccalaureate from an accredited institution, or an equivalent approved by the Office of Graduate Programs.
  4. Two letters of recommendation 
  5. Statement of Purpose or Intent
  6. Completion of the Graduate Record Examination. Graduates of an ABET
    accredited program in computer science are exempt from this req
