STATUS: Part-Time / Non-Benefitted / Hourly / Non-Exempt

COMPENSATION: $18.00 - $20.00per hour

RESIDENCY: Candidate must be a California resident. Chico State Enterprises is not a sponsoring agency for staff and management positions (i.e., H-1B Visas).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Instruct youth campers in the fundamentals of soccer while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning environment. Assist in all aspects of coaching operations at Chico State Soccer Camps, including:

• Designing and implementing structured, age-appropriate training curriculum.
• Delivering engaging instruction that develops technical skills, and confidence in all campers.
• Collaborate with other coaching staff to plan and execute effective training sessions, drills, and individualized player development strategies.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate youth athletes.
• Demonstrated understanding of goalkeeping fundamentals and techniques.
• Solid knowledge of positional play, tactics, and overall game strategy.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS: 

• Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. Chico State Enterprises will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current Chico State Enterprises employee who was conditionally offered the position.
