POSITION: Teacher Leader (Temporary) 

STATUS: Part-Time / Non-Benefitted / Hourly / Non-Exempt

COMPENSATION: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour

DEPARTMENT: Chico Math Project (CMP)

LOCATION: Pacheco Elementary and Middle School

RESIDENCY: Candidate must be a California resident. Chico State Enterprises is not a sponsoring agency for staff and management positions (i.e., H-1B Visas).

GENERAL PURPOSE: Deliver an engaging data science lesson in a classroom setting as part of a recorded demonstration project, showcasing instructional practices.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Teach a data science lesson in a classroom setting.
• Participate in a short interview after the lesson.
• Allow the lesson to be recorded for the project.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

• Must hold a valid teaching credential/certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and instructional skills.
