Retention
The CSSC retention efforts are focused on four fundamentals of student development. These fundamentals include: 1) Academic Success, 2) Personal Values, 3) Civic Engagement and 4) Career Preparation.
The CSSC also offers an Academic Leadership course through Undergraduate Education where students have the opportunity to explore leadership theories combined with self-awareness assignments and community service projects. An example of student engagement in learning includes the recent recognition from the Make-A-Wish organization of over $85,000 in contributions through the Academic Leadership course.
