Unique Torres

Unique Torres is a junior at Chico State University, where she is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish. She has worked with other campus organizations in previous years, where she planned and managed special events.

Creating content and marketing material to promote those events is what sparked her interest in social media and public relations. Unique joined the Cubanabooks team this semester as a public relations intern in hopes to stay involved in the Chico community, immerse herself in Hispanic culture and get more experience in her future profession. Unique aspires to pursue a career as a social media specialist and public relations practitioner. Unique spends her spare time volunteering at the Butte Humane Society, taking spontaneous trips with her friends, and acting as the Public Relations Officer of the Chico State Spanish Club.
