CURE-E Course: Introduction to Statistics (MATH 105), Fall 2024 & Spring 2025

Project Title: MATH 105 Hybrid

In this collaborative class project, we will collectively explore intriguing topics related to college students that are ideal for survey research. Each student will select a topic of interest and develop a research question around it. The instructors will then create a comprehensive survey based on these topics and questions, which will be distributed to all Math 105 students involved in the research assignment. Throughout the semester, students will analyze the collected data, draw meaningful conclusions, and address their research questions. At the semester's end, students will present your findings to the class. Students will be using StatCrunch as a key tool for data analysis, both in class and for the project.
