Project Title: ERTH 130 Introduction to Environmental Science Resource Use Project

Does a vigorous, personal assessment of a student’s resource usage change their lifestyle choices and attitudes about sustainability?

Students will choose which part of their lifestyle to research: Water, Transportation, Food, Fashion, or Waste.

Students will:

  • Work collaboratively and iteratively through two dedicated lab/activity sections and additional lab and lecture check-ins.
  • Generate their own unique data, visualize & interpret data.
  • Put their data in the context of existing data (requiring some research).
  • Be able to communicate sustainability concepts through a poster or infographic to be posted in public.
