CURE-E Course: Agriculture Genetics (AGRI 305), first introduced with CURE-E Fall 2022

Project Title: Characterizing Student Success in Agriculture Genetics Using CURE and EM Training

This course includes a Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experiences + Entrepreneurial Mindset (CURE-E) project. The CURE-E project is designed to enhance your success in this class by training you in research and entrepreneurship skills. Having students solve “real-world” problems through authentic research and business-minded tasks has previously been shown to improve student understanding and self-efficacy in science (Source Citations(opens in new window)). The ultimate CURE-E goal is to improve your future opportunities by improving your science literacy, communication, and trust in the learning through failure process.

The CURE-E project consists of multiple assignments that student teams will combine into a larger portfolio of work. This larger combined project should provide new knowledge or a creative contribution to the discipline of agriculture genetics. The data available for this class is new real world information has not been published yet!
