Michele Mittman

Michele Mittman is the Assistant Project Director for the CEMUR project. Prior to joining the CEMUR project she was an academic advisor in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management Student Success Center (ESSC) at CSU, Chico. As an academic advisor, she helped provide individualized advising and support to students in the College of ECC with the goal of increasing retention, engagement, and timely graduation of students. In addition to her involvement with academic advising, she has extensive research experience working in academic labs at Stanford University, Cambridge University, Bucknell University, and Arizona State University. Within this research work, she has been fortunate to help mentor many undergraduate research assistants and knows the great value undergraduate research experiences have on students.
