Wild & Scenic Film Fest

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival(opens in new window) comes to Chico State! Join the Center for Water and the Environment (CWE) for the Wild and Scenic Film Festival On Tour at the PAC 134 on February 26, 2020 at 7 PM.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a collection of films from the annual festival held the third week of January in Nevada City, CA, which is now in its 18^th year! Wild & Scenic focuses on films which speak to environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet and its people.

The festival reaches an even larger audience on tour with the support of National Partners: Peak Design, Hipcamp, EarthJustice, Klean Kanteen, and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.

The films selected for the Wild & Scenic On Tour at Chico State target college students, emphasizing education on a diverse range of issues, and a call to action for climate change and other pressing global environmental issues. The festival is a natural extension of CWE’s work to educate students about the environment and encourage research to understand issues at a deeper level.
