Research Interests
My research interests lie along the intersection of community ecology theory, biogeography, and phylogenetics with the goal of determining the patterns and processes that shape the assembly and function of microbial communities. The ultimate goal of my research is to improve our understanding of how these microbes mediate ecological interactions in nature.
