Gregory Kallio
Professor of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
Research Interests
Dr. Kallio’s current research areas are 1) residential building energy efficiency, 2) performance benchmarking of solar PV systems, 3) solar energy applications in agriculture, and 4) designing labs for undergraduate education in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and diesel engine emissions. Also have interest in snow science, particularly snowpack heat and mass transfer processes that affect avalanche probability and melt rate in maritime climates.
