Kate produces and directs content for the University's homepage and top-level sites, oversees the University’s social media program, manages digital newsletter projects for campus, and collaborates on a variety of University-wide digital projects. She also serves as liaison to external departments and committees, as well as writing and editing for University Communications websites and publications. Kate previously worked for University Communications at San Francisco State University. Prior to that, she was an associate editor at a bilingual English-Japanese newspaper in San Francisco. She earned her BA from University of California, Berkeley and an MA from San Francisco State University, both in Japanese.
