FedEx Express
When outgoing FedEx Express® shipments are requested by campus staff and faculty, Distribution Services is responsible for the pick-up and assistance with document preparation.
In addition to the above:
- We are responsible for the charge-back to a department postage account (Mailbag Code) for services used when FedEx Express is the carrier.
- We are responsible for the internal campus delivery of inbound FedEx Express shipments, and carrier staging for outbound FedEx Express shipments for campus staff and faculty.
Inbound
FedEx Express packages are delivered to and received by the Distribution Services staff at 940 West First Street.
Distribution Services, using our internal tracking/delivery system, make the final delivery and captures a signature at your department office.
Outbound
Domestic
Prepare your shipment- Pack and seal the contents
- Address the package(s)
- Complete a Domestic FedEx Ship Request
- Download a fillable Domestic FedEx Ship Request (Box)(opens in new window)
- Right-Click SAVE LINK AS...
- Be sure to include:
- Your Mailbag Code (Section 2)
- Have the shipment available for pick-up by Distribution Services or call at 530-898-5115
