Selected Off-Campus Resources

  • California Council for the Blind(opens in new window)
    Aims to increase the independence and equality for all Californians who are blind or low vision.
  • Butte County In Home Support Services
    Provides physical support to eligible aged, blind or disabled adults and children who would not otherwise be able to safely remain in their homes.
  • Disability Action Center
    Provides information, housing assistance, and provider referrals for people with disabilities living in Northern California. The nonprofit works with each client to eliminate barriers (physical, emotional, societal, etc.) to increase opportunities for participation in the community.
  • NorCal Services for Deaf & Hard of Hearing
    Offers services to provide access to services, education, and employment. Founded by Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, the nonprofit does advocacy, interpretation, specialized programs, and more.
