Coalition For Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA)
Our immigration legal services provider, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), offers free consultations to Chico State students, staff, faculty, alumni, and immediate family members. Appointments are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 9:00am – 5:00pm. At this time, appointments are virtual.
Attorneys and legal assistants are available to assist with:
- General consultations and screenings
- DACA renewals
- Advance parole
- Family based petitions
- Removal Defense
- Naturalization
- Assistance in filling out DHS/USCIS forms and other relief
