  • Chico State undocumented, Dream, AB 540, and DACA students, as well as, students from mixed-status families, are invited to join our confidential email listserve to receive our newsletter, updates and information about services, resources, and opportunities.  Complete by this short form(opens in new window) to join.  (Only first name and email requested.)

What is the current status of DACA?  

Free Immigration Legal Services

  • Chico State students, faculty, staff, and their immediate family members are eligible.
  • Free consultations with our immigration legal services provider, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), continue virtually.
  • Zoom appointments are available every other Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm.  No appointments are available in June, yet they will resume in July.
  • Appointments may be scheduled directly through the CHIRLA Student Legal Services(opens in new window) website (scroll down to “CSU Campuses”).  
  • CHIRLA also hosts DACA Clinics every Wednesday on a weekly basis for students, faculty, staff, and their immediate family members who are submitting initial DACA applications. Sign-up opens each Monday morning for the clinic that week. Sign up at this link
