Academic Preparation Outreach Coordinator
Kelsey Dixon is Chico State's Academic Preparation Outreach Coordinator, where she supports college and career readiness across Northern California. With over a decade of experience serving youth from diverse and rural communities, her work focuses on helping students, families, and educators understand what it means to be prepared for college-level English and math through the CSU Early Assessment Program (EAP). She is passionate about equity, early intervention, and empowering students to navigate their path to higher education with confidence.
Outside of work, she enjoys adventuring with her three-year-old daughter and husband (who is also a Chico State graduate). Her journey has taken her from the shores of Oʻahu to the mountains of Tahoe and Colorado, experiences that have shaped her inclusive, relationship-centered approach to outreach and education.
Kelsey is a proud Wildcat Alum, holding a Master of Arts in Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration.
