Research Centers
The College of ECC is home to the California Pavement Preservation Center and the California Mechatronics Center.
California Pavement Preservation Center
CP2C a first Caltrans-certified a leader in partnered efforts between government, industry and academia to advance and improve pavement preservation practices through education, innovation, applied and practical research, technology transfer, and implementation. This includes developing and advancing innovative approaches to pavement preservation and pavement materials.
California Mechatronics Center
The California Mechatronics Center at Chico State has worked with clients from the North State and beyond to help automate a production and assembly processes. The professional engineering staff and student assistants have experience in design, manufacturing, troubleshooting and repair of robotics, electro-mechanical systems, and other technical equipment.
