College of ECC Graduation Celebration

Congratulations to our graduating College of ECC seniors!

If you are registered to walk in the Spring 2025 University Commencement, please save the date for the College of ECC Graduation Celebration!

When: TBD
Where: O'Connell and Langdon Courtyard, Chico State Campus
Who: Graduating College of ECC seniors and their family/friends attending Commencement (max. 8 guests)
What: This event will be complete with music, food, awards, and a photobooth!

While it is not required, feel free to come to the event dressed in your regalia. After the celebration, you will then need to walk over to University Stadium for the official University Commencement check-in at 6pm. The Commencement ceremony will begin at 7pm.

Order of the Engineer Ceremony

Congratulations to our Engineering Graduates!

If you are a graduating Engineering student registered to walk in the Spring 2025 University Commencement, please save the date for the Order of the Engineer Ceremony:

Who: Graduating Engineering seniors and their family/friends
What: To commemorate this significant milestone and welcome you into the engineering profession, the College of ECC invites graduating Engineering seniors to join the Order of the Engineer. The Order of the Engineer is an independent organization that is dedicated to the engineering profession. Inductees are asked to accept with pride the “obligation” of an engineer. The “obligation” is the formal statement of an engineer’s responsibilities to the public and to the profession. It is a creed similar to the oath attributed to Hippocrates that is commonly taken by medical graduates and which sets forth an ethical code. The Order is symbolized by the acceptance of the “obligation” and the wearing of a stainless steel ring on the little finger of the working hand. For additional information review:
