Summer Bootcamps

Summer 2021

Math & Engineering Bootcamp (MEB)

Utilize concepts in pre-calculus while completing engineering and computer science projects this summer. Join us for three weeks in July to prepare for MATH in your major. The ALEKS PPL assessment is included in MEB to determine appropriate math placement for your fall semester. This bootcamp is FREE and a great way to prepare for fall!

MEB Dates: July 7-22

Projects include:
Design, construct, and test a truss bridge
Estimate and plan the launch of a projectile from a 3D-printed trebuchet
Program a microprocessor to control a robot through a route with obstacles

All project materials needed will be provided and shipped to your home to use this summer.

ECC Peer ALEKS Leaders (ECC-PALs)

Drop-in sessions for ALEKS help, MATH support, and preparing for fall. Attend sessions with our ECC-PALs and prepare for fall!

After you complete your ALEKS PPL initial knowledge check, begin working through the individualized learning modules. Starting June 1, ECC-PALs will be available to help with content activities, tutoring, and individualized learning support this summer. Drop-in to as many sessions as you would like to connect with current Math Education majors who are available to help guide you through the ALEKS modules. The drop-in schedule will be posted soon! LSAMP Summer Bootcamp

New and continuing students are invited to apply for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Summer Calculus Bootcamp.


CSCI Summer Bootcamp
