  • California Community College (CCC) Transfer

    Use assist.org to determine equivalent courses for your major, general education (GE) and transferable units. Coursework from a CCC will transfer to meet lower division coursework (100 & 200 level).

    A maximum of 70 transferable units from a CCC can be applied towards your ECC Bachelors Degree. However, units above that do still earn/complete requirements. Additionally, your transfer GPA is calculated from all attempted transferable units.

  • California State University (CSU) transfer

    Use assist.org to determine equivalent courses for your major, general education (GE), and transferable units. Some CSU's have agreements between major programs to determine what is transferable.

    If a course(s) is not listed on ASSIST and it appears similar to coursework you have completed, contact the ECC Student Success Center (ESSC) for help contacting the appropriate departments/advisors.

    There is no limitation to the amount of units that can be transferred from a four-year university to your ECC Bachelors Degree. However, there are residency requirements(opens in new window) needed to earn the degree from California State University, Chico.

  • University of California (UC) transfer

    Use assist.org to determine equivalent courses for your major, general education (GE), and transferable units. There are a few UC that have agreements between major programs to determine what is transferable.

    If a course(s) is not listed on ASSIST and it appears similar to coursework you have completed, contact the ECC Student Success Center (ESSC) for help contacting the appropriate departments/advisors.

    The advisors in International Admissions will assist with reviewing your coursework and determining transferable coursework. International Admissions will reach out to campus departments and assist with course enrollment for your first semester.
