Kathleen Meehan Announced as EECE Chair

Kathleen Meehan, EECE department chair

Kathleen Meehan joined the College of ECC leadership team as EECE Department Chair starting in fall 2017.

Kathleen came to Chico State after service at University of Glasgow and Virginia Tech. She brings an excellent breadth and depth of experience to Chico State as faculty, engagement in industry employment and relations, and directing an international electrical engineering program. These experiences will serve the department of EECE and the College in a visionary and forward-thinking manner. Her vision for a vibrant and diverse EECE department that is engaged in innovative education practices will make a strong contribution to Chico State meeting the regional and national demand for innovative and entrepreneurial electrical and computer engineers. The EECE faculty and students will benefit immensely from Kathleen’s experience and vision for the future.
