Professor Sargsyan joined the Economics department faculty at CSU, Chico in 2008. He teaches courses in macroeconomics (Econ 302 & Econ 102), and money and credit (Econ 330). Dr. Sargsyan taught at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Kansas State University prior to his appointment at CSU, Chico. His research interests include macroeconomics and international trade. Dr. Sargsyan's recent works investigate the welfare effects of various economic reforms and tax laws that affect countries' foreign trade.

On weekends, Professor Sargsyan enjoys spending his free time outdoors walking, biking, and appreciating the beautiful Bidwell Park with his family.
