Arthur Balizan(opens in new window), who graduated with a BA in Economics and the Smale Award in 2007, is a tax manager in transfer pricing(opens in new window) with Informatica(opens in new window) in Redwood City, California. After graduation at Chico State, Arthur entered graduate school at the University of Michigan(opens in new window) where he earned his MA in Applied Economics(opens in new window) in 2008. During the summer of 2008 Arthur worked as a transfer pricing intern with Ernst & Young(opens in new window) in Detroit, Michigan. After completing his internship he accepted a position with Ernst and Young in San Jose, California where he worked for 3 years. In 2013 he became a vice president at Duff and Phelps(opens in new window) in Palo Alto where he worked for almost 4 years. In 2015 he moved on to Informatica(opens in new window) where he is currently working as a transfer pricing tax manager.
