Avanade hired Ashley in June after her graduation in 2022. Along with being the West regional lead, she specializes in helping companies within the healthcare industry leverage technology for success. “With my fundamental certifications in Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and Azure Data, and Security, I help companies leverage the most beneficial Microsoft solutions that align with their strategic initiatives,” Ashley explains on her LinkedIn page.
"The best decision I made throughout my time at Chico State was to major in Economics,” Ashley stated in a recent email. “The professors provide a quality curriculum that sets students up for a future of success. In today's business world, there is a constant need for companies to evolve and adapt, and the state of the economy factors largely into these strategic changes. Having an Economics degree allows me to better understand the reasoning behind companies' strategic moves. Economics is a lucrative degree because there is economics in every aspect of a professional career, no matter what industry you go into. I highly recommend Chico's Economics program to anyone who is considering it."
