Brett Gottlieb is a trusted financial advisor serving Southern California and is the founder of Comprehensive Advisor, LLC. He is a graduate of California State University, Chico with a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, as well as course work completed for an Economics degree. Brett’s experience in the financial services industry spans more than 20 years.

He has passed the Series 65 securities exam and is an independently licensed life insurance agent. Brett’s financial custodians for his client’s assets include TD Ameritrade & Fidelity, two of the largest and most respected firms in the business. These relationships allow his clients access to the best platforms and research capabilities in the industry.

Brett began his career working in employee benefits consulting where he specialized in building retirement plans for the employees of larger corporations. He then took this experience to the individual planning arena and now helps pre-retirees and retirees with retirement income planning (including Social Security maximization), investment portfolio management, tax planning, health care planning (including life insurance and long-term care insurance) and legacy planning.

Throughout his career, Brett has remained passionate about informing his clients and community on all topics related to retirement income planning and shares his knowledge with people across San Diego County. Brett has been featured on ABC and Fox News and looks forward to his future speaking engagements.

Brett’s company, Comprehensive Advisor, LLC(opens in new window), is based out of beautiful Carlsbad, CA  where he resides with his wife, two daughters and son.
