Carey Balzer

Carey Balzer(opens in new window), who graduated with a BA in Economics in 1982, is a managing partner and founder of Marion Integrated Marketing(opens in new window) in Austin, Texas.  He is also a partner in Beetnik Foods(opens in new window).  After graduation at Chico State, Carey enrolled in graduate school at Binghamton University(opens in new window). He received in MA in Economics and Finance and became a manager in charge of market analysis and forecasting for AT&T(opens in new window) in 1984.

After 4 years withAT&T(opens in new window) Carey accepted a position as vice-president of business marketing with Sprint(opens in new window).  In 1996 Carey left Sprint for a brief period with US West(opens in new window) before accepting a position with CSW/ICG as president.  He founded Vetris Communications in 1999 and worked as CEO and president before moving on to Tmanage(opens in new window), MegaPath Networks(opens in new window) and Voxpath Networks in that order.  In 2008 Carey founded White Glove Technologies where he served as president for 4 years.

Carey worked as a senior executive for mindShift Technologies(opens in new window) for almost 4 years.  In the meantime, he became a partner with Beetnik Foods and founded MARION Integrated Marketing where he currently works.
