After a year with the Princeton Review, Garret enrolled in National Cheng Kung University (NCKU)  as an MBA student where he studied for 2 years, with a focus on marketing.

According to his LinkedIn page Garret “lived a year in near homeless demise in Madrid and found refuge in the delights of photography.”  He has been working as a photographer and branding specialist.  His client list includes; Red Bull, Nike, Greenpeace, Asus, and many others.  His work can be found on his website www.garretmclarke.com(opens in new window)

“Although working mainly in a creative space the lessons I learned through economics are a major part of every aspect of running a business,” Garret stated in a recent email.  “I am constantly aware of the opportunity cost of taking or passing on cases, and the impacts that can have. Furthermore, being able to approach cases in a calculated and formulaic manner, as one would with Economic theory, will lead to the ability to standardize the process and yield greater results. Also, my background in Economics greatly helped me when studying my MBA.”  (Last Updated 2/18/19)
