Nick Catomerisios

Nick Catomerisios, who graduated with a BA in Economics in 2011, is principal of Hearthstone School in Oroville, California.   In 2012 Nick earned an Education Specialist Credential and a Master’s in Education from Chico State. During the next four years Nick worked as a special education teacher.  In 2016 he went back to school at Chico State to obtain his Administrative Credential while working fulltime as a school principal, his current position.

“Economics helped me develop a global perspective and look at all the moving parts in the complex system we call public education,” Nick stated in a recent email. “The ability to find relative data and know how to find correlations has helped me become an educational leader and create systematic change within my school.
