Owen James

Owen James, who graduated with a BA in Economics in 2017, is a client support specialist with White Glove Services at Yext in New Rochelle, New York. In 2013 Owen worked as an intern with the New York University Medical Center AIDS Clinic in Mombasa, Kenya during the summer before he enrolled at Chico State. In his internship Owen organized community outreach programs and worked in a program to help children affected by AIDS and HIV. 

While he was a student at Chico State Owen was a volunteer for the Cross Cultural Leadership Center (CCLIC) and he participated in the Economics Club. During summers Owen worked as a lifeguard at the New York Sports Clubs in New Rochelle, New York. During the summer before his senior year at Chico State Owen interned at Zerve, assisting customers who wanted to book tours, in the Greater New York City Area. While a junior and a senior Owen also worked for BMU in grounds keeping.

After graduation Owen got a job with Yext, where he currently works, as associate client support specialist. Yext promoted Owen to client support specialist in their white glove services in 2018, where he provides technical and product support.  (Last Updated 9/28/20)
