Paul Frydendal

Paul Frydendal(opens in new window), who graduated with a BA in Economics and a BS in Business in 1981, is chief operating officer at Special District Risk Management Authority(opens in new window) (SDRMA) in Sacramento, California. After graduation Paul accepted a position as audit supervisor with Office of the Auditor General in Sacramento, California.

After 11 years with the Auditor General’s office, Paul moved on to the Special District Risk Management Authority as chief financial officer. In 2014 SDRMA promoted Paul to chief operating officer. He also continues to serve as chief financial officer.

“My BA in Economics was valuable, but my BS in Business Administration – Accounting, which allowed me to sit for and pass the CPA exam, has been valuable too.” Paul stated in a recent email. “There is no question that the combination of the two degrees from Chico, along with an MBA that I picked up at Cal State University, Sacramento all contributed to where I am today.”  (Last Updated 1/25/21)
